I don’t fit in Boxes. I build Maps.
I’m a clinician-in-training, writer, former healthcare strategist and entrepreneur — with a past in addiction, a future in systems change, and a present rooted in clarity.
My work braids together lived experience, cognitive precision, and meaning through story. I’ve led teams, walked through fire, and sat with tales most people run from. I don’t offer therapy-speak or corporate polish. I offer presence, pattern recognition, and real-world coherence.
I hold an MPH from UCLA, an MBA from DePaul, and I’m currently completing an MSSW at the University of Tennessee. I work at a community-based recovery center in East Nashville.
WHat it means
The image is simple: a chalice and a revolver.
But it runs deeper — it’s a philosophy.
The Cracked Chalice
This is the Forge — a symbol of transformation. A vessel where raw experience gets turned into gold. In old stories, it’s the place where people are tested, where real change happens. It’s not comfortable, but it’s honest.
The Revolver
This is the Threshold — the line you cross when you’re ready to get real. The revolver isn’t a threat — it’s a filter. You don’t enter the Forge by accident. You have to bring something true: effort, courage, and staying present. Not everyone is ready to step in.
Cowboy Merlin
The name carries contrast. Merlin stands for insight — someone who sees patterns and helps others grow by naming what’s true. Cowboy is the outsider — not because he wants to be, but because most of the world is chasing things that don’t matter. Sometimes the only way to stay honest is to ride alone.
